Wednesday Preview (9/11/13)

Come to Friendship at 6:00 pm to eat some food and then we're going to have some discussion time over Philippians 2:1-11. Where we are in this life right now, understanding we are not where we need to be, and implanting strategies to try to reach the ultimate goal of living a Christ-like life. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Sunday Preview (9/8/13)

I'm so looking forward to this Sunday! I'm praying that you all will be there! Some of what will go on Sunday:

At Team one, we are going to continue our discussion about why we do the things we do at church as we will explore the reasons for baptism. Don't forget that you get to enjoy breakfast while we have discussion! This is a great time to ask questions, get answers, and explore the Bible. Come at 9:45 to enjoy breakfast, and a great small bible study!

At 6:00 pm, we have what we like to call Ablaze. It's youth worship. We sing along to contemporary songs, read scripture, pray, and hear a message. This is an awesome time to worship the Lord with others your age. Come hang out with us on Sunday night!

OneLife Social (9/4/13)

What's up people?! Hope your week is going great! I just want to remind you that everyone from grades 7-12 are welcome to come to Friendship Baptist Church in Buna tomorrow from 5:30-7:00 pm for our OneLife Social. We'll have food, games, and most importantly, fun. Hope to see you all there, and please bring a big appetite and a friend!



Also don't forget about SYATP on September 25. That evening we will head to Pine Forest Baptist Church for a SAW You At The Pole Rally. It will be awesome! The event is FREE!! We'll be leaving the church at 5:45 pm that night and will get back around 9:00 pm.

A Few Announcements

Our OneLife Social is this Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 pm! We'll have pizza, drinks, games, and fun! Come hang out and enjoy FREE food!!!

Coming up in just over 3 weeks is See You At The Pole. That evening, we will be heading over to Pine Forest Baptist Church for a big SAW You At The Pole Rally! They're going to have a great band and a great speaker there! That's on September 25! We'll be leaving the church at 5:45 pm and get back around 9:00 pm!

Sunday Preview (9/1/13)

I'm super excited for a fun day of worshipping Jesus Christ! We have lots of great stuff planned for tomorrow! It all starts with Team One at 9:45 am! Roll out of bed and come eat breakfast with us while we have a discussions about Scripture and life. Then hang around for Worship at 11 am. Singing songs and hearing a message from our Pastor. Then go eat lunch, take a nap, and then make it back for Ablaze at 6 pm! If you think you have what it takes to be a World Changer, you might want to come double check! We'll talk about the three I's of being a World Changer! Who better to talk about than one of my favorite men of all time; Paul. So be sure to come spend some time at Friendship Baptist Church in Buna, Tx tomorrow morning starting at 9:45 am! See you then!

Wednesday Preview (8/28/13)

What a great day of worship we had yesterday! Great time at Team One, then worship. We wrapped it up with a great night of Youth Worship at Ablaze! If you weren't there, you definitely missed out! This Wednesday we are going to be eating, playing games, and having a bible study!

The party starts at 5:30 pm with FOOD! Then at 6 pm, we're going to take our talents to the lawn and play some games and have fun, then we'll head to the youth room and have a bible study about "Loving the Unloveable." If you still want to hang out after bible study, we have basketball goals and xbox! So come hang out with us and have a good time! Starts at 5:30!

Sunday Preview (8/25/13)

At Team One, we are going to be watching a video about the evidence of evolution vs the evidence of God. It's a pretty interesting video! Cool interviews and interesting viewpoints. Definitely an eye-opener! Watch the trailer below and be sure to come to Team One this Sunday at 9:45 am! Breakfast will be served!

 

 

 

Sunday evening at Ablaze, we will be talking about loving those certain people who do everything in their power to hurt you and make your life difficult. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. We all have that "one person" that we can't stand! BUT, come Sunday night at 6 pm to hear about how we are called to love those people just as much as we love anyone or anything else. See you all Sunday!

 

Also, don't forget about our Back to School Bash this Saturday! We are meeting at Friendship at 5:20 then driving to First Baptist Church in Silsbee to play games, rock out with Sun Standing Still, hear a great message, and spend time in prayer for our schools. Don't miss it! 5:20 at Friendship THIS SATURDAY!!!
